Caitlyn Murphy is an award winning illustrator based in Toronto, Canada. Her work was featured in CMYK Magazine’s Top 100 New Creatives issue in 2013 and 2014. In 2014, she was selected to design a Polaris Music Prize poster and participated in a live drawing event during the opening of the Toronto International Film Festival. Her work has been shown in several exhibitions, including This Art is Authentic at The Black Cat Gallery, fART at OCAD Student Gallery, and Wallspace where she created a mural installation curated by Gary Taxali. In the Fall of 2015, a book of her new work will be published through Swimmers Group. But at the end of the day, she just likes to paint and draw what she loves which can sometimes mean rotating tangerine men.
